The Ceremony
Can I have my ceremony at the Oaklands?
Yes we a fully licensed venue so from your first vows to your last dance you don’t leave the grounds! We can also hold your ceremony on our sunny lower decking area should the weather allow.
Do I get to choose my menu?
Yes … you choose your own three course meal from our Norfolk inspired menus.
How do we book the registrar?
Your registrar has to be booked through Norfolk Registry Services. This can be booked online: Give notice of a marriage or a civil partnership - Norfolk County Council
Who looks after our ceremony music?
We do. Your wedding host will ensure they have the correct version of the correct song played at the correct time.
Food & Drink
Who looks after us on the lead up to our special day?
Hollie, our Wedding Specialist, looks after you from when you first get in touch straight through to your wedding day where your dedicated wedding host takes over.
What about my guests who have allergens?
Our chefs are well rehearsed in catering for a large array of allergens to ensure all of your guests enjoy their meal.
Styling
Do you provide decorations?
We provide table linen, glassware and crockery. Couples arrange their own personal details such as table centre pieces, floral displays, etc.
Who will set up my decorations on the day?
Our Set Up & Styling Assistants, Mai & Annabelle, set up everything you need them to.
Extra Bits
Do you allow dogs?
Absolutely – they’re just as much a part of the family as everyone else.
How many guests can I have at my ceremony?
We have an inside and outside ceremony license for up to 150 guests.
Do you have free parking?
Yes we do.
Can we provide our own food and drinks?
Only food & drinks purchased with us can be consumed on the premises. Of course wedding cakes are excluded from this.
Can I set up the night before?
Set up is on the day of your wedding however, you can drop your decorations off to us the day before so the girls are ready to go in the morning.
Do you have bedrooms available for my guests?
Yes we do … lodges and a selection of bedrooms.
Can I book my own DJ?
Yes you can or you can book our preferred DJ directly with us.
